Immperial [Alley Cat] Does it Better with New EP


Deejay Immperial formally known as Alley Cat is definitely standing out with his musical and producing skills especially with his latest EP “Doing Better” produced for his Immperial Productions label.

The rhythm is very unique and fresh and consist of 2 songs, each with 2 mixes. Speaking with the artiste/Producer about the new project he said “Each track has its own concept. Doing Better speaks about overcoming obstacles and living life to the fullest. No Man Mascot speaks about females who reject negative treatment from men.”

Immperial made many hits over the years just to name a few like, Girls Tour, Brag and Boast, Why Why, No More Garrison, and A Gal A Say She Hotter.
He continues to create great music that the wider public have come to appreciate. His style and musical skills has cement him as an artiste you can count on to deliver high standard of good Reggae and Dancehall music

“Doing Better” the song is creating a good buzz all over Jamaica as many prominent radio stations have put it into their playlist. Immperial says he his very greatfull for the love the song is getting so far

A former Kingston College student, he made his recording debut in 1996, and with four albums released to date (his latest, Dancehall Knowledge Vol 3), Immperial says he has evolved musically.

“I think I have a higher mental capacity by keeping abreast with everyday events, both locally and internationally, putting things into the right perspective and delivering it through the fine art of music,” he explained.

As for the Doing Better EP, Immperial says A new video is currently in the works and should be out by fall.
